UPDATE: In the case of an extra long power outage (like just recently), my laptop battery got nearly used up, so I shut it down. On startup, there is no AC power event generated as can be seen in the log.

Power was lost at [Wed May 21 16:44:21 PKT 2008], and came back on at about 19:00 hrs. However, the only indication of power restoration will be when my battery gets fully charged and generates a battery event.

I'll look more into solving this little bug later.
Don't you think just writing down the time on paper would be easier, Linux freak? :P
Expected a reply from you :P. Where's the fun in pen and paper man?

No I dont think manual logging would be easier, it would in fact be harder. Also, this is meant to log the times when I'm not at home on my laptop. Since, it's on all the time, I figure its nice to have a record of power redundancy.

In addition, I'm thinking its gonna give me some info on how long of a battery backup I would need if I were to set up a server on my premises. This should be interesting for anyone else in Karachi thinking the same as well. :)

Thanks for the Linux freak label tho. I'll wear it with pride :D
