Maybe that’s part of the problem with the mount. :|

I’ve been trying to copy a file to the phone’s memory card with obexftp, but I can’t.

sudo obexftp -u 1 -c E:/ icones/document.png

Sending “E:”… done
Sending “icones”… failed: icones/document.png
Disconnecting…done

Interesting problem.
I tried the -C switch and the folder was created on the fly. (ubuntu users add sudo)
# obexftp -u 1 -C E:/ -p icons/document.png
Connecting…done
Sending “E:”… done
Sending “icons/document.png”… done
Disconnecting…done

I haven’t tested how far the nesting of folders will go though. Interestingly, the command worked even without the -p switch.

The same thing happens when I try to create a folder in the phone’s memory card.

howto change the file permissions of /media/phone…

# chmod 775 /media/phone

If it doesnt work, unmount it before issuing the above command

# umount /media/phone
# chmod 775 /media/phone
